Almost certainly, Gremlins!

 This morning we left for Richmond. No lie in for us because our overnight parking ticket is only valid until 9 am. If the warden caught us after that, we would have to pay a further £5. Yep they are pretty strict about over stayers! Anyway, before we left I grabbed the camera for a last photo. For once the reservoir looked like a mill pond.

  With all the fridge problems, our plan was to head back to FS but would you believe it...the bl**dy thing started working again. I give up...we must have gremlins working against us, not that I'm complaining. It does mean we can continue with our journey. Of course, the fridge was now bare. So much thrown away, even with it working again I don't think I would risk the bacon, ham, cheese, milk etc now. It had been sitting in a warm fridge for two days. It did mean we would have to stock up again so driving through Hexham we found a Tesco. Didn't go mad with goodies, after all the fridge may well go rogue on us again.

Lovely small place called Tow Low and one would think the small garage would be one of the most expensive. In fact, it was a good 5p cheaper per litre than some big companies. We filled up; right next to us was this wonderful old Austin 12. In fact, having stopped in a lay-by for lunch, this car came past at considerable speed. It was on a down hill stretch, he admitted to Ian that going up hill was a right B, it was almost at a snails pace!

 

It took nearly 6 hours to reach the camp site for tonight. I was desperate for a shower and this CC site had plenty of room for us to stay. So much room we were the only ones there!

So many moths on the web but none that I can see look like this, so it's unknown. (Thanks to Jo, I now know it to be a Pine Carpet Moth)
