About Us

My photo
In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

A quickie and How does a train passenger explain that a terrapin ate your ticket!

A very quick post as the floating cinema on tour has come to entertain us this evening with the Swansong at Sunset. A personal invite but only because we are moored right by the sound system! They have assured us the show finishes by 11.15pm. Not a lot of time for anything except some photos of our excursions today. Still photos are better then me going on and on and on......
