Great musicians |
And entertaining dancers |
The happy couple. Margaret with the brolly and Dennis supping his pint. |
Time for the Ladies |
Today I had hoped to take Jade for her walk before the forecasted rain appeared. I obviously took to long over breakfast because as I put my head out of the back doors, so it started. Determined not to go without a camera, I took my small compact Samsung instead so apologies for the quality.
Twisted board walk leading to the Woodland and Lake nature reserve |
Numerous bat boxes in the trees. |
But not always for Bats! |
A Great Tit chick nearly ready to fledge. |
But still reliant on it's parents |
One wet volunteer. |
Dennis mopping the deck first thing this morning. Pointless task really, as not long after this photo it was all wet again. |
Not just the ducks enjoying the weather. |

"...but then again....if you had to be somewhere, come hell or high water you just have to go."
HI Irene, you have captured my neighbour on her way back to the Hunts moorings. i guess when you need service you have to go get it !! I'll let Mandy know she is part of an action shot !

Hi Nev, I did feel sorry for those braving the conditions especially the hires who don't have the luxury of waiting it out. I don't suppose Mandy gets her picture taken unawares very often so hope she likes it.

Hi Jacquie,
We would never have known about the dancers if we hadn't made our way to the pub. Wish a poster of sorts were put on the locks so more people could have enjoyed the spectacle
