About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

Cock of the North
Well now we have seen it all! The motorway often lays host to all sorts of weird and wonderful vehicles but a train! And a steam train at that! It caused quite a bit of a stir I can tell you, as cars and even lorries slowed down to have a good look. I managed these two photos as we approached but if you fancy reading more about the Cock of the North click on the link.

Great photos again Irene :)
But it's not a train... it's a locomotive or engine... like a narrowboat is not a barge. Sorry to correct you. LOL
Oh dear. You probably have gathered by now that I know nothing about trains, locomotives or engines and thank you for pointing it out. I stand corrected and will try to do better in future(:
Xxx
Right place, right time, camera handy. Congratulations
