So that the cables are not visible when the lights in the wall are installed, a hole had to be made through the pillars and down to the ground. That's where the long drill bit came in. Ian has had to abandon the tiling on the on suite to get all the cables in for the exterior lights.A small digger is arriving on Friday and the cables and junction boxes are to be mounted behind the wall. All the soil that was excavated when the build was going on, will then be pushed against the new wall to bring the garden levels up. Ian is to man the digger on Friday. I really hope he doesn't accidentally knock the walls down again.!!!

| My contribution today was to paint doors ( again ) |

| and finish the last of the skirting. This section was to long to be painted inside so the garage was used instead. |
