About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough.From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

No, they haven't got a clue!
I've just been busy emailing the police and a local school because of groups of kids 'playing chicken' crossing the road at the very busy London junction today. Bah!!!

Irene. They do not have a clue about the danger. Last winter a lad and his dog walked across the basin in Market Harborough, then on Boxing Day the same lad took his girlfriend out into the middle. I tried to explain the dangers but he was not listening. What they also do not realise is if they fall through the ice no one is going to jump in after them.
