Coming back from Morrisons I happen to spy two well known boats from blogger land. AREANDARE with Sandra and Barry and Captain Ahab and Helen with the famous Jam Butty. Long chat ensued with Andy and Barry and a visit to the Jam Butty for more goodies is on the agenda as well as photography tips from Barry.
The bunting has gone up and the 'Open for Business' flag. Drinks are on us folks as we only fly the flag for special occasions. Well it's not quite a special occasion yet but will be on the 5th May when it will be our anniversary. 42 years of married bliss although Ian often tells people that if he had 'done me in' when we were first married he would served his time and be a free man by now!
A few more pics from the site.
No doubt more to blog about tomorrow but the family will be arriving any minute so this will be a scheduled post. Just one for the album. Swans arriving yesterday

Hello Irene, I am Jennie from nb Tentatrice (http://pippa13.blogspot.co.uk) and I have been reading your blog from time to time. Good to see you have made it to Droitwich. We are volunteers with C&RT and will be at the festival on Sunday. On duty from 10 to 12 and 2 to 4, but will be around and about between our two stints, so we will look out for you. I am sure we will be found in the beer tent at some point in time! Our boat is moored in Droitwich Spa Marina at present ready for the off later this month.
