About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

Where's that log gone?
It only happens to Ian! There we were moored on this lovely mooring when Ian decided to get the wood out from our top box and cut it up for out fire. As he stacked it by the fence, two pieces rolled down the hill and onto the farmers track below. Now I would just have left them but not Ian. No. He had to jeopardise his crown jewels on the barb wire fence just so he could retrieve the said items!!!
