About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

New born calf
What a wonderful life we have cruising the canal. On our way to Silsdon we moored at this remote spot for the night. On waking in the morning to do our usual 6.30 to 7 am dog walk we were privileged to see the birth of this calf. I can now truly say that I have seen more of the wonders of nature travelling round the country then at any other place in the UK .
