About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

Slalom at Pier Point
On arrival we had a few issues on mooring the boat. The first part of the moorings was on the river and consequently the height of the wall meant that the dogs wouldn't be able to get of. Going on toward the lock the wall was lower but a 1 foot concrete plinth meant that we couldn't get as near to the bank as we would have liked. We managed or should I say the dogs managed to get on and off so we decided to stay where we were. Next to our mooring and just over the hill was this slalom coarse, and very entertaining it was to.
