Anyway, more on yesterdays incident when that second boat hit us. I thought it was just a side fender that went for a Burton yesterday. Turns out the back button fender was also involved. In fact Ian only just got to it in time before it disappeared beneath the waves. So before we set off this morning we pulled the boat off the pontoon and on the bankside mooring. From here Ian could repair and replace the shackles.
In this photo you can see nb Harmonia. This was the idiot boater ( in yellow) who did the damage. Ian turned to him and said that he should be doing the repair as it was his fault. All we got was an icy stare, still no apologies! So on Ian's instructions I am to name and shame.
Just moved onto the Stratford canal and off the 48hour mooring in the basin. We have the consultant to see tomorrow and it's easier to go from here. Hopefully we wont be in the firing line anymore, especially as the wind has dropped. In fact it's turning out to be a nice evening!

Hi Irene, I thoroughly enjoy keeping up with your blogs and was sorry to read about your bad day yesterday. Being hit 3 times in one day takes the biscuit and it's outrageous that there no apology was offered by the helm of NB Harmonia.
I believe it's a share boat out of Alvechurch operated by ABC.

Hi Irene, was just about to say the same as SimonG, I believed Harmonia to be a share boat. I feel sorry for the nice considerate owners of the share boats as they do get a bad name and not all owners are so thoughtless. I was a bit behind and catching up with the blogs, pleased all went well at the hospital and Ian got the thumbs up again. xx
I agree Debbie, The majority of share boats owners are considerate but this one was not! Mind you I thought Harmonia belonged to a private owner so thank you to SimonG and yourself for enlightening me. I'll keep an open mind if I ever meet it again. Probably have different people on it by then. xxx
