We reached Cosgrove on Thursday 27th. Dennis and Margaret have left the boat with us again while their family are staying with them at home over the bank holiday. As we will be here for about 10 days Ian has gone back to our bungalow to collect our car. Colin and Iwona live only 5 miles away from here so they will (I hope) be pleased to see us when we turn up on their doorstep.. Colin has issues with his conservatory so no doubt Ian will be doing his good parenting bit and endeavor to fix it for him.
About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

Lovely photo. One never gets fed up of seeing such cute bundles.
We are finally moving out of thr MH basin tomorrow and will be heading for Braunston we hope, if Hadar's engine behaves. Nice to see all is going well for you both and who knows we may see you at some point. Jo
Great news. No doubt we will see each other somewhere along the system, ( we tend to bump into fellow boaters in the most unlickly places.) Ian has also been given the all clear after the last MRI scan so no hospital visits until October.
All the best to you both and I will continue to follow your adventures on the blog.
Irene
