About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

Another trip to Glasson Docks
We were desperate for diesel so as the only place to get it was down at Glasson again so we had to make another trip. Dennis and Margaret didn't need any so the said they would come with us on one of the boats, Dave needed some to so he came as well. 6 double locks all with really difficult paddles were done by Dennis Margaret and Dave, and it took us a couple of hours.
Dennis having a well earned rest.
