About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

Tarleton River lock
At the approach to the lock this boat was already there waiting for us. Unfortunately he failed to move over to the side to allow us to enter and we crashed into him and the side of the lock. The BW men were none too pleased. Mind you the river current was too strong to allow a good line into the lock so we had to put some power on otherwise we would have continued down the river!!!!
