New logo for C&RT. Words doesent express what I think of this. Very disappointed is the politest I can manage.
About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

Why no reeds? or even a swan? Why a new logo anyway?
Debby
Me too - I am speechless. The current one is just so much nicer.
Debby, who are we to wonder why. All I know is the change of logo and all that it entails (clothes, signs, etc) will have to be replaced. Apparently, according to C&RT this is all within the marketing budget and no additional money will be spent. Personally, I can not see for the life of me how this will promote the waterways. Polo mint with soggy bottom comes to mind.
Just looks like a car tyre thats's been chucked into the canal!
Surely they should be spending that money and time on fixing breaches, dredging etc....their maintainance list is endless.

Absolutely rubbish, it's look like water going down the plughole, not even a nice font for the words either.
