As a fisher person I hate these birds. We had found a tackle shop in Yiewsley near West Drayton. I bought a pint of maggots and next door was a hair dressers so I called in on the off chance to see if I could have a trim. My luck was in. Within 10 minutes I was in the chair having a short back and sides and I only had to pay £10. We set of again and turned into the Paddington Arm and found a lovely mooring about 200 yds in. So once again I settled down to do a spot of fishing when these pair turned up!! Not a single bite was had and after 2 hours gave up as a bad job.
About Us
- Ian and Irene Jameison
- In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.
