Click here The introduced pests, (rats, possums, stoats etc) are a serious problem for the native species and have killed a huge number of the ground dwelling birds, Kiwis and Kakapo parrot are but a few. With the money raised they have managed to buy equipment to humanly kill the pests and have greatly reduced the numbers. We did also manage a trip to the Te Wairoa falls at the Buried Village
