Some of the locks are extremly deep, this one being no exception. Heather had to stay well forward or she would have had a shower sooner then anticipated.

While Heather was cutting my hair the heavens opened. Poor old Dave was left holding the brolly and getting very wet himself.

I wanted my hair cutting but every hairdressers I went to either was busy or to expensive, so Heather offered to do it for me

I have been wanting a hair cut for ages and every time I went to a hairdressers they were either to busy or to expensive! As Heather usually cuts Daves hair she offered to do it for me.

We are now on the Bridgewater canal on the Leigh Branch and heading for the Leeds and Liverpool canal. We crossed the Manchester Ship canal but no boats unfortunatly.

Lymm Moorings

Koa Carp at Lymm Village pond

We found this small duck pond and then suddenly spied about 7 Koa carp swimming around. Not a brilliant picture but this gives yoy a rough idea of what they were like.

At the Lymm Dam

We went for a walk and found this great water park. Unfortunatly the dogs couldn't go swimming because there were to many fishermen around.

Lymm is a lovely village and a great place to wait for Dave and Heather to arrive.
