A grand day out in Stratford

Did the touristy thing today. Open top bus (for once the rain held off ) Anne Hathaway's Cottage, A quick look in the theatre and church, a walk around the town and a lovely relaxing walk by the river. ( done once we got back because Jade was ever so pleased to see us and was desperate to go out, having been left on her own for 5 hours. )We certainly spent a bit of cash today as none of those places were cheap. The bus cost £20 for the 2 of us, £15 for Anne Hathaway s Cottage, £1 each to view Shakespeare grave and nearly £14 for 2 baguettes, a cup of tea and a coffee. Outrages the price for lunch. Next time a packed lunch is in order but we thoroughly enjoyed our day and tomorrows itinerary has already been planned.

 We had hoped to move off this pontoon today but the visitor moorings on the other side of the bridge was full so here's hoping there will be a space for us tomorrow as our 48 hours in the basin will be up by then.
