Finally a fish!

And what a fish!!! After spending days dangling a maggot from a hook and catching nothing, along comes this fantastic chub. The wind was blowing waves on the surface of the canal and I very nearly didn't bother about fishing but I'm so glad I did. This was the only chub but I had a few small perch as well.
