Lower Hayford

I took the dogs out early this morning. The picture presented itself and I just had to take it. What you cant see is the puddles all along the towpath. Boy did it rain last night. Thank goodness it wasn't in the day. We did expect bad weather because our barometer had started dropping toward stormy.

This poor bedraggled bird was stood outside the kitchen window. Ian reckoned his misses must have kicked him out, but I said it was most likely the other way round. Anyway it looked very sorry for itself.
