At Godstow lock

We had up to now encountered the large Thames locks capable of holding large plastic cruisers and trip boats. Once we left Oxford and locked through Osney lock, the larger vessels could no longer fit under the bridges, so us narrow boaters became the dominant boats once again. This is "Icing" locking up without us as we had already ascended with another boat.
Gates opening.

Goodbye and thanks. It pays to be friendly with the lock keepers and they love it if you compliment them on their gardens.
