Heading for Preston

Preston is at the very end of the southern part of the canal. Bit of a let down really with hardly any moorings. In fact the only place to moor was at the sanitary station. Next day was our passage back across the Ribble so we made ready with getting the anchor out , life jackets and lashing all the roof furniture with a bungee.
