Not the Christmas we wanted but with two of our grandchildren schools now experiencing Covid amongst some pupils, we felt it safer to stay away from the family. Still going to have a turkey dinner though and at least this year we can watch what we want on TV instead of fighting the grandkids for the remote!
Hope your Christmas will be a good one, and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
Xxx Ian and Irene Jameisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15619780891302537493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4169865556277364121.post-90625192423722361942020-12-09T10:51:32.925+00:002020-12-09T10:51:32.925+00:00Hi Irene, Good to hear from you and to know you a...Hi Irene, Good to hear from you and to know you are safe and well. It has certainly all been happening round your way. I do hope your pub rises from the ashes, so to speak. We remember fondly the meal we had with you both in 2018.
We are both well and looking forward to our turn for the vaccine and return to some semblance of normality. Like you, we are not seeing the family - with 5 children in school and two teachers; they are, sadly, too much of a risk to us. Our brother in law who keeps himself to himself is going to be with us for Christmas. His children would gladly have him, but again they are too much of a risk, so at least by coming to us he won't be alone.
Take care, keep safe and have a Happy Christmas.
