2012 Floods at Swarkstone, Sawley and Trent Lock

Steps completely disappeared.

Towpath flooded to Cranfleet. Note the water tap in the middle of the picture

Even the canoeist had to wade through the flood to get back to base.

  5. WOW you've certainly been busy today Irene. What an amzing set of pictures, it's good to have you back and that you both enjoyed your time on Merlin.
    BTW I have seen the Trent at Swarkestone higher though quite some years ago when those houses were well and truely flooded.
